Southern Management Association
The SMA is a regional affiliate of the Academy of
Management. Its primary mission is to advance the research, teaching, learning,
and practice of management. Presently, the SMA membership consists of over 900
management professors, doctoral students, and executives representing more than
200 colleges, universities, and business firms in 43 states and several foreign
countries. The Journal of Management is the official Journal of the Southern
Management Association
